New Consulting Firm Launches to Strengthen Rural Communities and Small Businesses

COLCHESTER COUNTY, NS — A new era of localized support has arrived with the official launch of Roots by the River Consulting, a firm dedicated to empowering rural communities, small businesses, and non-profit organizations. Founded on the principle that local organizations deserve accessible, practical, and affordable support, the company provides crucial administrative and strategic interventions to help clients thrive sustainably.

Roots by the River Consulting addresses a vital gap in the market by offering deep expertise in rural dynamics coupled with an adaptive pricing structure. From managing intricate project coordination and conducting detailed jurisdictional scans to handling essential day-to-day document preparation and communications, the firm acts as a force multiplier for organizations looking to scale their impact.

“Our vision is a future where rural communities have the exact tools, confidence, and foundational support they need to grow independently,” says April Doucette, Owner. “We don’t just offer advice; we build the capacity that allows local organizations to anchor themselves and flourish.”

To celebrate the launch, Roots by the River Consulting is currently accepting consultations for upcoming seasonal planning and project management needs. For inquiries or to book a consultation, contact April Doucette at 902-449-4440 or via email at rootsbytheriver@icloud.com.
